HADID programming language: follow the development

Meet HADID

We are sharing the project page and documentation space for HADID, the programming language under development at Digital HAT. This announcement offers a starting point for developers interested in the ideas and architectural goals behind the project.

The name and identity

The founder chose the name through inspiration from Surah Al-Hadid in the Qur’an. Hadid means iron, connecting the project’s identity with strength and structural support. Its new H symbol reflects that idea through geometry inspired by iron beams.

What we are working towards

Explicit memory and resource rules, static types, useful compiler feedback and an LLVM-based native compilation pipeline are architectural goals. We are exploring them in the context of systems software and server-side development.

HADID is in active development. The v0.1-PRE material is not a stable release, complete toolchain, proven performance guarantee or commitment to production readiness. Technical details may change.

Explore and take part

Visit the project page, browse the documentation and read the longer HADID news article.

Use the technical preview form to register interest. This does not guarantee an available download or immediate access. Specific use cases and technical questions are welcome as we develop the language.
